Hello, 👋 My name is Pablo Quesada! I am an Electrical Engineering graduate with a passion for software engineering and cybersecurity. My experience includes developing a mobile application aimed at promoting cybersecurity literacy and working with various programming languages. I hold a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a certificate in Website Hacking and Penetration testing. Currently, I work as an Associate Engineer in Grid Control Systems for FP&L and I am eager to pursue a Master of Science in Cybersecurity.
Outside of work and studies, I enjoy exploring new technologies, learning new languages -spoken and programming alike- and I especially enjoy rooting for the Miami Hurricanes.
Work as part of the Grid Control Systems (GCS) to ensure that the grid control systems and software are in accordance with the established best practices and security standards. Design, develop and maintain software applications that are critical to the efficient and effective operation of the power grid.
Assisted in the testing and validation of new avionics products and systems. Developed software to automate the tracking of stock, lead time, and price of critical electrical components to improve the efficiency of electronic component procurement.
Oversaw the setup and breakdown of event equipment and facilities, such as chairs, tables, lighting, and sound systems. Managed and troubleshot in house audio and visual equipment during events. Worked with event organizers to understand their requirements and ensure that the venue is set up to meet their needs.

Learned about UI mantras and techniques to create designs that effectively convey a message and provide a simple and intuitive UI for the user. Used the concepts in this course to effectively implement and design software for the Grid Control Systems team that is critical to the power grid.
Cyber is a learning platform, delivered in the form of a mobile application, that promotes cyberhygiene by teaching users about cybersecurity risks and safe practices. Cyber aims to increase cybersecurity literacy across different industries to create confident cybersecurity-minded individuals.
Suppleye seeks to detect the fluctuation of the prices, stock, and lead time for specified electrical components to allow the client to proactively monitor and ensure that their production line stays functioning. Suppleye uses OctoPart’s API to track information on each component and alert the client if there is a significant change in any of the three categories.
